Gold: "Menorah" by Ben Katsev Grade 3 |
"Hanukkah is my favorite holiday, because I get presents every day. I enjoyed painting the Menorah, I also like to build a Menorah from Lego :) "Silver: "Hanukah" by Eliza Kalenjian Grade 5
"This is a painting of a
girl sitting by a menorah thinking about the history of the Jewish culture and how much she is grateful to have a home, food, and parents".

Gold: "Jewish Life" by Victoria Khrobostova Grade 10 |
"I was inspired by, of course, the Russian Jewish family at the dinner table and also by the four holy cities and their elements."
Silver: "Traditions" by Katia Keshishian Grade 8th |
"For me to be Jewish
means to follow the wonderful tradition that my family followed for many many years. I am very happy that I go to temple on Yom Kippur and listen to the beautiful Hebrew language. One day, I hope to go to Israel to see where my roots come from."
