Here are some comments from the Gala participants:

Garry Kasparov:
I am writing to express my thanks and appreciation to the RJCF, its board, the Gala organizers, and to all of your members and supporters. I was greatly honored to receive your 2016 Human Rights Award and to speak at your Gala. I must also express my admiration to your organization, both for its passion and for its ability to turn that commitment into action. I have never seen anything like it anywhere and the Russian and Jewish communities in Boston are very lucky to have the RJCF — as is Israel! Your young people in particular were tremendously impressive and deserving of every accolade. Congratulations on your first ten years and best wishes for your next ten.

Myron Shneider, former IDF soldier:
"Attending the RJCF Gala and hearing so many inspirational people speak about their connection to Israel was both a motivational and moving experience. I am energized to continue to fight for, and defend, both the Jewish people as well as Eretz Israel."

Yudit Bolotovsky, Young Leadership Award recipient
This gala was the best one yet! It was such an honor to receive the Young Leadership award, especially with my friends from Sderot right there on stage with me. Thank you RJCF for making it all happen, and for constantly supporting the Boston-Sderot-Project.

Lilia Gaufberg, Jewish Advocacy Award recipient:
This year's RJCF gala was so much fun and made me feel very connected to the Russian-Jewish community in Boston. I appreciate everything that the RJCF does to strengthen the relationship between Israel and the diaspora!

Lana Rifkin:
I am still coming down from the high of yesterday's incredible event. It was truly amazing -- and absolutely a celebration of our community. Every bit of it was perfect as far as I'm concerned. There were so many new faces (and hopefully donors!) who have been messaging me all day, telling me how impressed they were with everything they saw. Really and truly: mission accomplished!

I am so grateful to all of you for bringing us all together and giving me the chance to be a part of such an incredible thing.

Alex Koifman:
Gala was different from all other Galas – it was the best Gala ever. The biggest, the most meaningful and most importantly most enjoyable by everyone. Sderot kids were a unique show at the gala. The IDF fundraiser was also a success. Kasparov was excellent. EVERYTHING was emotional and positive.

Seeing an event like this gives me strength to spend my time and energy on doing what we are doing.
