Community Unites to Sponsor Two Magen David Adom Ambulances Honoring People of Israel

[Newton, MA] – The Russian Jewish Community Foundation is proud to announce a significant milestone in its mission to support emergency response services in Israel. Thanks to the generosity and compassion of our amazing community, we have successfully raised funds to sponsor two new Magen David Adom ambulances dedicated to victims of October 7th.
The dedication ceremony will take place on Sunday, January 12, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, at Hebrew College, located at 1860 Washington St, Auburndale, MA 02466. This event is open to the public and free of charge, but guests are required to RSVP to secure their free ticket by visiting bit.ly/RJCFevent.
About the Event: The ceremony will serve as an opportunity for the community to come together to honor the memory of victims of October 7th and celebrate the resilience of Israelis, continuingly confronting enemies and fighting for their freedom and the right to exist. The new ambulances will bolster lifesaving services, ensuring critical medical care to the people of Israel.
Lina Klebaner, President of Russian Jewish Community Foundation is expected to address the gathering, to thank the community for its invaluable support and dedication to the RJCF causes, and to emphasize the supporters’ forging a lifesaving connection between members of the Russian Jewish community and residents in Israel.
Guests will hear about the impact of Magen David Adom's work, and witness the unveiling of the ambulances. The MDA representative will share real life facts about MDA’s vehicles serving as as Israel’s national emergency medical services system and a global leader in mass-casualty response, working closely with the International Red Cross. The two vehicles at the ceremony will mark a significant milestone, bringing the total number donated by the Russian Jewish Community Foundation to six donated ambulances
Kosher refreshments will be served, and security will be present to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
