Letter from Natasha February 18th, 2015, Sderot -- Natasha

I'll try to describe what is happening in our community. Our girls, Sharon (ceramic teacher) and Limor (Sharon's friend and assistant), overflowing with all sorts of creative ideas and, of course, they are looking for like-minded people.

They had an idea to organize a society of young talented painters, sculptors, designers, etc. They organized an initiative group, shared their plans with light, found sponsors and ...

A week ago, they had the first event. They invited young artists living in the south and made creative workshop in the foyer of our center. Foyer fabulously - turned into a magical white room. They just removed everything and draped ceiling and wall light snow-white cloth. Then they decorated all delicate flower arrangements and small silver sequins and
lights. And everything was called "White in White".

In the hall were placed easels, and artists began to create in front of the audience. Invited sitters create certain images on given topics. Viewers could watch them work, to communicate with each other for а cup of coffee, to share creative plans. And you can listen to music. To create a pleasant environment, they invited the young and talented singer-composer Tsofrira Ifraha. He lives in Sderot, but his name was already known throughout Israel.

The mayor of the city was invited to and fascinated by everything that was happening. Municipality in general supported this project morally and financially.

All participants were satisfied and decided to continue to hold such meetings, because it helps young young talents to grow, develop and make its way in life.

On the first picture you can see the mayor of Sderot - Alon, with Sveta, Limor and Sharon
