Yudit Volaski (Bolotovsky) is a Speech-Language Pathologist who has been an active member of the Russian-Jewish community in Boston since her teenage years. She was born in Tel Aviv, Israel and moved to Newton, MA when she was 2. Growing up she attended RSM year round, RSM camp in the summer, and competed in Rhythmic Gymnastics. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst in 2015, and continued on to get her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Northeastern University in Boston in 2017. Each summer during college and graduate school, Yudit volunteered two-weeks of her time to work as counselor and Program Director at the Boston-Sderot Camp. After finishing graduate school she moved to Sderot, Israel where she managed and taught English at the Boston-Sderot Community Center sponsored by RJCF. Yudit lived in Sderot from 2017-2020 teaching English, Lacrosse, and Rhythmic Gymnastics to youth in Sderot and the Gaza region. She learned Hebrew fluently during this time and made many connections in the educational, volunteering, and sports world of Israel. After moving back to the United States in 2020, she returned to her career as a Speech-Pathologist and now works at an Elementary School. Yudit has been actively involved in the planning, organization, fundraising, and chaperoning of the Boston-Sderot Camp since 2013. She is excited for this year’s camp marking Boston-Sderot Project’s 15th camp!
