Since the early 2000s, hundreds of Kassam rockets, launched by Hamas and other terrorist organizations, began to fall on a daily basis in Sderot, Israel, causing the Sderot children to develop serious mental disorders, lowering education standards and depriving the kids of their childhood.

Thanks to the outstanding efforts of our community, we have, with great success, been running a summer camp since 2008, as well as a year-round Sderot Community Center. It shows the kids of Sderot that they are undeniably loved - something they often forget.
 
This year, despite obvious difficulties and unprecedented circumstances, Boston-Sderot two weeks camp has taken place!  With tireless efforts and continuing dedication, it was successfully run by 8 American counselors, joined by 7 Israelis counselors, all alumni of previous Sderot camps.
 
We are thankful to have a very supportive community always prepared to help.
