Dear Boston area parents!

We are seeking teens (and their parents) who would be interested in participating in ClubZ - a Zionist club for teens. Club Z provides an opportunity for teens to learn the history of Israel and antisemitism, develop leadership and advocacy skills with the focus on pro-Israeli advocacy, and provides the kids with an opportunity to interact with like-minded individuals. The Club Z educational program explores a range of narratives on Israel and Zionism and addresses contemporary anti-Semitism by delving into its evolution. The program focuses on building a comprehensive understanding of Jewish history as it relates to Zionism, the Jewish connection to the land, the Arab-Israeli conflict, and modern-day antisemitism. The program also provides an accurate historical perspective and gives teens the tools to address antisemitism and anti-Israel sentiment at their schools, in their communities, and beyond. Club Z’s classroom extends beyond a physical space— significant real-world examples are utilized as teaching opportunities. The teens participate in events and are active at community rallies that challenge them to become confident and effective leaders.

There are currently Club Z chapters operating in California, New York and North Carolina, and we are working on bringing a Club Z pilot program to the Boston area this fall.
The pilot program will be geared toward teens entering 7th or 8th grades and will include a Fall Retreat, five educational meetings, a National Conference over MLK weekend and social activities and community events.
