Summer 2018
Dear Donors at Zionist House and RJCF,
My second year of university is coming to an end and I have finished more than half until graduation. This period is challenging and rewarding, but it also provides difficulties to deal with. I have found out that this period teaches me not only the material presented in class but also how to be more responsible, creative and determined. I learn how to cope with mistakes and the challenges of life and find ways to deal with them and succeed.

As you know, during this time, on a parallel timeline, I married my wife Yana. We have established a family and moved in together. I also continue with my work in the police. Being a policeman is a very demanding job, which sometimes requires doing some sacrifices, such as not seeing my family or missing school. I also keep on volunteering in the "New Guard" organization, and I have become the guards' coordinator. Therefore, during exams period I had to manage all the tasks of my life and go through this period with success. Obviously, it wasn’t all perfect, but I know that with hard work I will be able to complete everything. These challenges just show me how strong and creative I can actually be. Thank god, these challenges are joyful ones and they are the seeds of my independent life. I can't be grateful enough for what I have in my life.

I have started writing my seminar papers for school. They deal with important and interesting topics which are extremely relevant to my work. For example, in the course of Terror and Guerilla, my seminar paper deals with the connection between Hezbollah and Iran. In another course I write about the hostile conception that exists in the Ethiopian sector towards the police.

As I mentioned, I still volunteer in the "New Guard" organization and have become the guards' coordinator of my area. Every shift I brief the guards and make sure they are ready for their night shift. During this time, I have made many new friends, people who love the country and are willing to help the farmers to keep their lands safe. These are fine people. We always have an interesting conversation over some coffee around the fire at night.

It is clear to me that without your generous help nothing of that would have been possible. Thanks to you I have the ability to gain knowledge during this busy time in my life. Your help is doing so much good and spreads so much light in our country. I promise to do everything in my power to return your favor and spread your light to others.
Thank you so much,
I have attached some updated photos.
I will be happy to hear about you and hope that you write back.

Sincerely yours,
George Zeldkin
