RJCF JEWISH ADVOCACY
Posted on October 4, 2017
RJCF created Jewish Advocacy project in 2014. The goal of the project is to combat anti-Semitism and anti-Israelism – that are actually indistinguishable now. For this, RJCF is actively involved in standing against Boycott, Divestment & Sanction (BDS) – a movement on college campuses and beyond that tries to isolate Israel economically. RJCF stood against anti-Semitism in Newton - exposing lies about Israel in school history material, and demanding that the school’s committee acts when anti-Semitic graffiti appeared in a Newton school.
RJCF wrote a number of letters urging university administrators to stand against BDS. We are actively involved in meeting and urging our state representatives to pass the “anti-BDS” resolution in Mass State House. We created a number of pro-Israel posters that we display in public places. RJCF is a major partner in a broad coalition that fights against anti-Semitism. Our partners are Americans for Peace & Tolerance, Christians & Jews United for Israel, Israel-American Action Committee, AMCHA, and many others.
Our community supports the Jewish Advocacy by donating funds and participating in pro-Israel events.
