Letter from our IDF soldier: Oksana Karimov (Winter 2016)
Posted on September 12, 2017

Dear Donors,

It's been a few months already since my last letter to you, and much has happened during this period of time.

First of all, I finished the 2nd semester of my degree, out of 8. As of now, I passed all my exams so I can start my 2nd year without any academic debts. With the financial support that I receive from you via IMPACT it is easier for me to concentrate on my studies.

In the "CPM", which I take part as part of the IMPACT! Scholarship, I am helping two children, Leal 7 years and 4 year old David, whose mother is blind. I read them stories, take them to activities in the afternoon. Leal this year started first grade and I get to be the one to help her with her homework and give her a push, so she can be an outstanding pupil.

During the semester break I moved closer to the college where I am studying so it will be easier for me to get to school. I'm still trying to get to know the environment and new neighbors. There are a number of groups around here so I have someone to study with which helps me a lot to work in groups.
As part of this year I teach school children with special needs anything new they learn to feel as a great achievement by the end of this year hope we can promote them.

Have a nice and warm winter
And again thank you very much for this great gift

Sincerely yours,
Oksana Karimov
