Help Complete the Monument to Commemorate the Victims of Terror in Jerusalem
Posted on February 4, 2010

Information about donation is at the bottom of this page. Thank you!

The Monument to Commemorate the Victims of Terror was designed and conceived by world renowned sculptor, Julia Segal, who resides in Jerusalem. The monument will be installed in the very center of Jerusalem on Hillel Street, and will be made from bronze and stand ten feet high.
Though the monument originally began as a sculpture in memory of Mordehai Lipkin, it slowly transformed into a monument that stands in memory of all victims of terror.

It is a truly magnificent accomplishment that this statue will stand right in the heart of Jerusalem. It will stand as a beacon of memory for all those who suffered and perished in acts of terror. The sculpture portrays an empty easel and an unpainted painting. For the victims of terror, life was interrupted, they cannot finish the painting of their life on their own. That is up to us. By donating towards this monument, we are able to help keep the memories of these individuals alive. We are finishing the painting.

We are appealing to members of the Russian Jewish community of Boston to help us cover the costs of final installation and bringing this project to a successful completion. We know that you care.
