Helping IDF Solders – a letter to RJCF
I have been very well aware of many years of RJCF hard work to support various Israeli causes, helping children of Sderot, IDF soldiers, buying ambulances for Magen David Adom. I did not expect anything else from my friends at RJCF but still feel deep appreciation for their support. It means a lot to me.
This recent contribution for IDF soldiers funded by RJCF, Russian Jewish Community Foundation, that eagerly responded to our call to help the IDF soldiers. The requested items are: safety glasses, bandanas, neck gaiter, face masks, over the head flashlights, earplugs, rain suits, flash lights mountable on the rifle, black duct tape, rain coats, knee pads, camelback water bottles, etc. That is how it all came about ….

Unforgettable Rally in Support of Israel
This past Sunday, on November 5th, approximately 2,500 people attended a pro-Israel rally in Brookline. It was an uplifting and reaffirming event filled with songs, dance, and outpouring of love for Israel and support for the Jewish people. As we marched along the streets of Brookline with our Israeli flags raised and our voices joined in song, we felt proud and united. As we danced, hugged, and mingled in the streets, we felt joy and love. This amazing event was a result of a handful of volunteers from the Russian- speaking Jewish community—moms with kids, jobs, and households to run. Their “support team” were teenagers, fellow parents, and the 100% volunteer board of RJCF. In just two short weeks, they successfully planned and executed this complex event, which included a march, speakers, food, fundraising, children’s activities, and a strong Brookline Police presence. The rally was televised on several local news channels and many of the videos and photos have gone viral on pro-Israel social media accounts with millions of followers.

Boston-Sderot 2023 – Counselors Reflections, Photos & Videos
Read the reflections of the counselors of the Boston-Sderot Camp 2023, with photos.
By Karin Ulanovsky (3rd year counselor): "This year at camp I had the oldest girls - ages 15 and 16. Coming into this age group I had a lot of biases as someone who already had second oldest last year (and some of these girls as well). I knew they would be concerned with their appearance : excessive hair brushing, lots of perfume, and showering as much as possible normally multiple times a day. Truth be told, this turned out to be..."
